'Lottery Fund Application Success'
'Awards for All' part of the Lottery funding have confirmed that they have approved our grant of £10,000 to replace the boardwalk which is great news! Our thanks to Committee member Lynda for her research into how to submit successful applications for funding - our second in a matter of months (see below).
The work was carried out during Feb/Mar by Southdown Landscapes and is now well worth a visit. Our thanks to Nigel for overseeing the project from start to finish.

'New Entrance Gate'
We were also very fortunate at the end of last year to receive a grant from The Community Foundation for Surrey on behalf of the Orchid Environmental Fund to enable us to replace the front gate and adjoining fence. This has improved access to the site for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
