On a glorious summer's day, the 1st Pirbright Community Games were held on the Village Green and we had a stall
to promote the wildlife area. Visitors to the stall were encouraged to pick up a copy of our fun quiz and visit the wildlife area to take part.

Two local young students who belong to 1st Brookwood Scouts, Amy and Mia, are working towards their bronze
Duke of Edinburgh medal and undertaking environmental tasks at the Wildlife Area under the watchful eye of Site Manager,
Nigel Emmerson. Their aim is to alert and enlist the help of visitors to the wildlife area in pulling up Himalayan Balsam
on their walk around the site and have designed this eye-catching poster which is displayed at all entrance gates.

The 2017 AGM was held at St Michael and All Angels Church in Pirbright on Tuesday 4th April at 8 pm followed by a heartwarming talk together with a heartfelt poem from Chris Matcham on hedgehogs. To read the Chairman's Report, click here.
